Radiant Core™

Vitality, Polarity & Pelvic–Heart Integration®

Radiant Core™ — Core Definition

Radiant Core™ is the third developmental gateway of the Core Strokes® Training Spiral, concerned with the organisation of vitality, polarity, intimacy, instinct, feeling, and relational presence while grounding, differentiation, and embodied coherence are maintained.

It works primarily with the deeper phases of the Energetic Breath Cycle™, deeper fascial continuities, pressure regulation, and Pelvic–Heart Integration®, understood as interconnected expressions of Living Organisation.

The Developmental Organisation of Vitality and Polarity

Radiant Core™ works primarily with the deeper phases of the Energetic Breath Cycle™: Excited Breath, Orgastic Breath, Ecstatic Breath, and Surrendering Breath.

These phases describe the growing capacity of the organism to sustain vitality, emotional depth, pleasure, vulnerability, intimacy, and relational presence.

Excited Breath brings greater activation and the emergence of polarity. Receptive and projective movements become more differentiated and increasingly available for relational exchange.

Orgastic Breath supports the participation of these complementary movements within a more unified wave of breathing, movement, feeling, and vitality. Instinct and feeling, pelvis and heart, receptivity and expression begin to participate within one organisation.

Ecstatic Breath explores the capacity to remain present as vitality expands beyond familiar limits. Activation can become more fully embodied and relational rather than being discharged, controlled, or separated from contact.

Surrendering Breath introduces the capacity to soften after intensity without collapsing, withdrawing, or losing oneself. Surrender becomes an organised movement of trust rather than the abandonment of boundaries or differentiation.

These phases are not fixed stages or outcomes that every participant must achieve. They describe recurrent movements within Living Participation and offer a framework for recognising how activation, pleasure, intimacy, and surrender are presently organised.

The developmental task is not simply to increase energy or emotional intensity. It is to remain present while vitality deepens.

When this capacity has been difficult to establish, the pelvis may brace, the pelvic floor contract, or the diaphragm lose continuity with the lower body. Instinct may become separated from feeling, pleasure from intimacy, activation from relationship, or vulnerability from embodied support.

Some people may control vitality to preserve safety. Others may seek intensity without being able to contain or integrate it. A person may long for intimacy while protecting themselves against the vulnerability it requires.

Within Core Strokes®, these patterns are approached as adaptive forms of organisation. They may have helped the person manage overwhelming activation, relational uncertainty, shame, intrusion, or insufficient support.

Radiant Core™ does not seek to remove this protection or produce intense experience for its own sake. It explores the conditions through which vitality, polarity, pleasure, and intimacy may become more coherent, differentiated, and relationally organised.

Gradually, another embodied knowing may emerge:

I can remain present while vitality deepens.

I can feel intensely without losing myself.

I can enter intimacy while remaining differentiated.

Deep Fascia, Pressure Regulation & Pelvic–Heart Integration®

Radiant Core™ works with deeper fascial continuities associated with pelvic, diaphragmatic, abdominal, sacral, spinal, and postural organisation.

These continuities are not treated as one isolated anatomical layer or as structures that simply need to be released. They participate in breathing, internal support, movement, autonomic regulation, and the organism’s capacity to gather, distribute, sustain, and express vitality.

Particular attention is given to the pelvic floor, psoas, diaphragm, deep abdominal field, sacral organisation, spinal support, and the functional continuity between pelvis and heart.

The pelvis participates in grounding, movement, instinct, sexuality, propulsion, and support. The heart region participates in feeling, vulnerability, contact, and relational presence. When these regions are insufficiently differentiated or connected, vitality may become confined to one part of the organism or divided into apparently opposing experiences.

Instinct may arise without emotional connection. Feeling may remain disconnected from bodily power. Pleasure may become separated from tenderness. Intimacy may be sought while pelvic vitality is held back, or energetic activation may increase while relational sensitivity diminishes.

Pelvic–Heart Integration® explores how instinctive vitality, feeling, breathing, and relationship become connected through the living continuity between pelvis and heart.

Integration does not mean that pelvis and heart become identical or that every impulse must be expressed. It means that their different contributions can participate within one coherent organisation.

As this continuity develops, instinct can remain connected to feeling, vitality to relationship, pleasure to intimacy, and activation to embodied presence.

Pressure regulation

Pressure regulation refers to the organism’s capacity to gather, contain, distribute, and release internal pressure without excessive bracing, collapse, fragmentation, or premature discharge.

This includes the changing relationships among breathing, the diaphragm, abdominal organisation, the pelvic floor, spinal support, movement, autonomic activation, and emotional intensity.

Pressure is not inherently problematic. It provides support, direction, vitality, and the capacity for action. Difficulty arises when pressure can only be held, expelled, avoided, or allowed to accumulate beyond what the organism can integrate.

Participants learn to observe how internal pressure changes during breathing, movement, touch, emotional activation, and relational contact. The aim is not to eliminate pressure but to support a more adaptable relationship with it.

The Three Organising Axes of the Deep Core

Radiant Core™ introduces three complementary axes through which the organisation of deeper vitality can be explored.

These axes are not literal anatomical lines or fixed personality categories. They are perceptual and functional orientations that help participants recognise different movements within embodied organisation.

  • The Medial Axis
The Medial Axis concerns receptivity, yielding, inner support, and the capacity to soften without collapsing.
It allows the organism to receive sensation, contact, feeling, and relationship while preserving sufficient boundary and internal continuity.
When this axis is insufficiently available, receptivity may become associated with passivity, collapse, invasion, or loss of self. When it is more coherently organised, softness can coexist with support and openness with differentiation.
  • The Posterior Axis
The Posterior Axis concerns propulsion, direction, differentiation, and the capacity to mobilise without forcing.
It participates in the ability to move forward, establish direction, act, protect boundaries, and bring vitality into expression.
When this axis dominates, action may become driven, controlling, or disconnected from receptivity. When it is insufficiently available, the person may struggle to mobilise, assert direction, or sustain energetic movement.
  • The Core Axis
The Core Axis concerns continuity, pressure regulation, integration, and the capacity to sustain vitality throughout the organism.
It supports communication among pelvis, diaphragm, spine, heart, breathing, and movement. It does not replace the receptive and projective dimensions of the other axes, but helps them participate within one coherent organisation.
The three axes continually shape and countershape one another. Receptivity without propulsion may lose direction. Propulsion without receptivity may become forceful. Integration without differentiation may become undemanding or vague.
Radiant Core™ explores how these complementary movements can become more distinct, responsive, and mutually organised.

Polarity as Embodied Participation

Within Radiant Core™, polarity refers to complementary movements of embodied and relational participation.

These movements may include receiving and projecting, yielding and mobilising, approaching and withdrawing, opening and containing, directing and allowing.

Polarity should not be reduced to fixed masculine and feminine identities. Every person possesses capacities for receptive and projective participation, although these may be organised differently across situations, relationships, and periods of life.

Polarity becomes clinically meaningful when complementary movements can remain differentiated while entering relationship. One does not need to dominate, absorb, or eliminate the other.

Participants explore how polarity becomes visible through posture, breathing, movement, tissue responsiveness, spatial orientation, energetic direction, and relational exchange. They learn to recognise when polarity supports reciprocity and when it becomes organised through control, compliance, fusion, withdrawal, or opposition.

The purpose is not to intensify polarity artificially. It is to support conditions in which difference can become alive, relational, and mutually responsive.

The Relational Learning Field

Radiant Core™ unfolds within a carefully held relational learning environment in which vitality, vulnerability, polarity, developmental pacing, and coregulation support one another.

As the training deepens, the group becomes part of the regulatory and relational environment. Participants learn through their own experience, observation, embodied witnessing, relational feedback, shared inquiry, and participation in the changing dynamics of the group.

The relational field becomes a living laboratory in which participants can explore how vitality changes in the presence of others. Activation that feels manageable alone may become more difficult when witnessed. Intimacy may invite openness and protection simultaneously. Attraction, difference, vulnerability, or emotional intensity may alter breathing, boundaries, posture, and the capacity to remain present.

These responses are not treated as failures. They reveal how vitality and relational participation are presently organised.

Shape–Countershape dynamics help participants understand this reciprocity. Every movement, posture, expression, boundary, or therapeutic contact offers a shape. The other person responds through countershape, and that response influences what can happen next.

Participants explore how to remain receptive without collapsing, active without controlling, intimate without merging, and differentiated without withdrawing. They learn to recognise when activation exceeds the available support and when greater intensity would undermine rather than deepen participation.

Consent, boundaries, pacing, and mutual responsiveness remain essential throughout the work. No expression of vitality, polarity, or intimacy is considered meaningful if it requires the loss of agency or relational accountability.

Within Core Strokes®, vitality is not an individual achievement. It matures through participation. The relational field offers conditions in which intensity can deepen while differentiation, respect, and embodied presence are maintained.

Soul Textures Emerging in Radiant Core™

As defensive organization gradually softens and pelvic–heart continuity becomes more fully embodied, the organism often begins to express the Soul Textures associated with coherent vitality, relational openness, instinct–feeling unification, and embodied presence.

Within Radiant Core™, these emerging qualities are reflected through Radiant PulseStreaming UnionCrystalline Clarity, and Reverent Hum.

Radiant Pulse expresses coherent vitality, embodied responsiveness, emotional depth, and the organism’s growing capacity to sustain energetic intensity while remaining grounded and relationally connected.

Streaming Union reflects the living continuity of breath, movement, instinct, feeling, and relationship. Rather than opposing receptive and expressive polarities, they begin participating within a single wave-like movement of embodied life.

Crystalline Clarity expresses increasing transparency, perceptual refinement, differentiation, and the capacity to remain fully present without defensive contraction or dissociation.

Reverent Hum reflects grounded surrender, quiet strength, and the organism’s growing capacity to soften into intimacy, vulnerability, and embodied participation while remaining coherent and supported.

These Soul Textures are not ideal states or permanent achievements. They are living expressions of increasing vitality, authenticity, relational maturity, and organizational coherence that emerge as the organism regains confidence in its own life energy.

As pelvic–heart continuity deepens, vitality no longer needs to be defended against or amplified. Breath, movement, instinct, feeling, and relationship gradually participate within a more coherent living organization.

Radiant Core™ therefore does more than increase vitality.

It restores the conditions through which vitality can become an authentic expression of embodied participation.

Radiant Core™ explores how vitality, polarity, intimacy, instinct, feeling, and relational presence become organised through deeper fascial continuities, Pelvic–Heart Integration®, and embodied participation.

Rather than emphasising emotional release, energetic activation, or catharsis as therapeutic goals, the training develops participants’ capacity to accompany increasing vitality while grounding, differentiation, and relational connection are maintained.

Participants learn to recognise how coherent vitality may emerge through the relationships among breath, fascia, pressure regulation, polarity, developmental organisation, and therapeutic participation.

Prior experience with somatic, therapeutic, body-oriented, or sustained experiential work is strongly recommended.

Radiant Core™ explores increasingly subtle and complex dimensions of embodied organisation, including vitality, polarity, Pelvic–Heart Integration®, relational presence, and the deeper phases of the Energetic Breath Cycle™. Participants benefit from already feeling at home in experiential learning and having developed a degree of body awareness and reflective capacity.

This experience does not need to come from Core Strokes®. It may have been acquired through body psychotherapy, somatic psychotherapy, body-oriented psychotherapy, bodymind integration, movement therapy, dance and movement therapy, Authentic Movement, or comparable forms of experiential body-oriented work.

If you are uncertain whether Radiant Core™ is appropriate for your present experience and readiness, we encourage you to contact us before registering. We will be happy to help you determine whether this module is an appropriate next step.

Yes.

Radiant Core™ approaches activation, vitality, vulnerability, intimacy, and relational intensity from a developmental, relational, and organismic perspective.

Rather than encouraging overwhelming activation, the training emphasises developmental pacing, informed consent, coregulation, grounding, ethical touch, clear boundaries, and the organism’s intrinsic capacity for self-organisation.

Participants learn to accompany increasing vitality while attending to safety, differentiation, autonomy, and embodied coherence. Protective responses are respected as meaningful expressions of adaptive organisation rather than treated as resistance or failure.

Pelvic–Heart Integration® is one of the central organising perspectives of Radiant Core™.

It explores how instinct, feeling, breath, polarity, and relationship become organised through the living continuity between pelvis and heart.

As this continuity develops, vitality may become more embodied, relational, and coherent. Pleasure, intimacy, emotional depth, and instinctive responsiveness can then participate more fully without requiring the loss of grounding or differentiation.

Integration does not mean merging the pelvis and heart into one undifferentiated experience, nor does it mean that every impulse must be expressed. It means that instinct and feeling can remain distinct while participating within a larger embodied whole.

Within Radiant Core™, polarity refers to complementary movements of embodied and relational participation, such as receiving and projecting, yielding and mobilising, opening and containing, or approaching and withdrawing.

These movements are not equated with fixed masculine or feminine identities. Every person possesses receptive and projective capacities, although their organisation may differ across situations and relationships.

The training explores how polarity can become differentiated, reciprocal, and relational without turning into domination, compliance, fusion, or withdrawal.

Yes.

Participants develop practical skills in body reading, fascia-informed touch, Pelvic–Heart Integration®, breath support, pressure regulation, developmental observation, polarity work, relational pacing, and embodied therapeutic presence.

They also cultivate the perceptual capacities needed to accompany emotionally and energetically complex therapeutic processes with greater precision, ethical sensitivity, and relational attunement.

Professional application of these skills must remain within each participant’s qualifications, competence, and legal scope of practice.

Yes, when the participant has sufficient previous embodied or experiential preparation.

Radiant Core™ is a complete seven-day training in its own right while also serving as the third gateway in the Core Strokes® Training Spiral.

Participants may subsequently continue with:

✨ Luminous Core™

They may also integrate the learning from Radiant Core™ directly into their existing professional practice or personal-development process.

Participants who have not completed Rooting Core™ or Flowing Core™ are encouraged to contact us before registering so that we can consider whether the module is appropriate for their present experience.

The training includes supervised fascia-informed touch, movement inquiry, breath-oriented work, body reading, polarity exploration, relational exercises, and conceptual teaching.

Touch is always optional and guided by clear boundaries, informed consent, developmental pacing, appropriate hygiene, and respect for each participant’s process.

Participants may ask for touch to be adapted, paused, or declined at any time. It is approached as one dimension of embodied learning rather than as an isolated therapeutic technique.

It is both.

Radiant Core™ combines rigorous professional education with profound experiential learning. Participants refine practical and perceptual skills while simultaneously exploring their own vitality, relational capacity, polarity, embodiment, and developmental organisation.

Professional competence and personal transformation are understood as complementary aspects of the same learning process. They are nevertheless not identical: participation in the training does not by itself confer a new professional qualification or extend a participant’s legal scope of practice.

Theory and practice continually inform one another throughout the training.

Conceptual teaching is explored directly through breath, fascia-informed touch, movement inquiry, body reading, polarity exploration, relational process, observation, and supervised experiential practice.

Participants therefore encounter the theoretical frameworks through lived experience while also developing language with which to reflect upon, differentiate, and communicate what they perceive.

Absolutely.

Many participants are experienced psychotherapists, psychologists, bodyworkers, physiotherapists, trauma practitioners, coaches, movement educators, sexuality professionals, and healthcare practitioners.

Rather than teaching techniques alone, Radiant Core™ offers an integrated developmental framework that can help experienced practitioners deepen their understanding of vitality, polarity, Pelvic–Heart Integration®, relational process, and embodied therapeutic transformation.

The training also provides opportunities to refine clinical judgement, perceptual sensitivity, ethical responsiveness, and the capacity to remain relationally present during emotionally and energetically complex processes.

Yes.
