🌱 Getting Started with Core Strokes
Welcome
Core Strokes is a living approach to breath, fascia, and embodied experience — supporting healing, regulation, and transformation.
If you’re new here, this page will guide you through the first steps.
An Orientation
You do not need to understand everything here.
Core Strokes unfolds over time, through experience rather than explanation.
This work is meant to be entered, not mastered.
Some people arrive for personal grounding or healing.
Others arrive through professional practice.
Others arrive through curiosity about how the body remembers, adapts, and transforms.
Wherever you begin, you are invited to move slowly and follow what resonates.
There is no correct order.
There is only what meets you now.
What is Core Strokes?
Core Strokes® is a somatic pathway that integrates breath, fascial textures, and relational presence to awaken the body’s natural intelligence and gently reorganize deep patterns in the nervous system.
It is both a healing practice and a learning journey: a way to dissolve tension, expand vitality, and reconnect with the core of who you are.
Who is It For?
Core Strokes welcomes:
- Practitioners – psychotherapists, bodyworkers, coaches, and healers seeking somatic depth and precision.
- Individuals – people longing for more grounding, flow, vitality, and authentic connection.
- Learning Communities – groups and trainings dedicated to embodied transformation.
1. 🌬 Feel the Breath Cycle
The Energetic Breath Cycle™ is the heart of Core Strokes.
It shows how your breath and energy naturally flow through nine phases — from safety and nurture, to excitement, surrender, and rest.

👉 Explore a gentle self-practice inspired by the first four stages of the Energetic Breath Cycle™ below.
2. 🌿 Try a Simple Practice

Start with one gentle exercise:
Close your eyes, take a slow breath in, and notice how your chest and belly move.
As you exhale, soften your shoulders and jaw.
This is the first step — awareness.
3. Read and Reflect
