Core Strokes® Training: The Four Gateways to Embodied Transformation

A Professional Somatic Psychotherapy Training in Breath, Fascia, and Relational Presence

Core Strokes® Training is a professional somatic psychotherapy training pathway that develops the capacity to perceive, understand, and work with human experience as it unfolds through the body.

Rather than teaching a collection of techniques, the training cultivates embodied perception.

Participants learn to recognize how breathing, fascial responsiveness, posture, movement, emotional expression, nervous system regulation, and relational contact continuously interact within one living process.

Through four progressive gateways, practitioners develop the ability to work with trauma, developmental patterns, emotional expression, and embodied transformation with increasing clarity, sensitivity, and confidence.

Each module is a seven-day immersion. Together, they form a coherent developmental pathway that can be followed step by step or entered through different gateways depending on experience and readiness.

Beyond Techniques: Learning to Read the Organism

Many trainings focus on interventions.

Core Strokes® focuses on perception.

Participants gradually learn to recognize:

  • how breathing reflects developmental and emotional organization
  • how fascia expresses adaptation, resilience, and vitality
  • how nervous system states shape experience and behavior
  • how relationship influences regulation and transformation
  • how healing emerges through contact rather than force

Rather than asking, “Which technique should I apply?”, practitioners learn to ask:

“What is the organism expressing right now?”

This shift transforms therapeutic work from the application of methods into a responsive dialogue with the living body.

How Learning Happens

Core Strokes® is grounded in direct experience.

Each module combines:

  • experiential exercises
  • hands-on practice
  • embodied demonstrations
  • supervised partner work
  • reflection and dialogue
  • clinical application

Concepts are introduced after they have been felt, observed, and explored.

Understanding develops through experience rather than explanation alone.

Between modules, participants are encouraged to practice, reflect, and integrate what they have learned so that development continues beyond the training room.

The Four Modules

Grounding & Belonging

Rooting Core™ awakens your foundation. Through the first phases of the Energetic Breath Cycle™, the superficial fascia, and practices of safety and support, you rediscover how it feels to land fully in your body and in relationship.

This module establishes the perceptual and relational ground required for all later Core Strokes® work.

Breath, Voice & Relational Rhythm

Flowing Core™ opens the channels of expression. Working with intermediate fascia layers, voice, and breath wave expansion, you explore elongation, resonance, and the restoration of relational flow.

The capacities developed here build directly on Rooting Core and are essential for working safely with activation and expression.

Charge, Passion & Integration

Radiant Core™ brings vitality to the pelvic–heart axis. Deep fascia release, erotic and emotional expression, and the reclaiming of joy and intimacy guide this gateway into wholeness.

This module presumes established grounding and breath mobility, allowing work with charge, polarity, and relational intensity.

Soul Textures & Transcendence

Luminous Core™ is the integrative gateway. Here, fascia, energy, and soul textures align into coherence. This module includes ancestral healing, polarity synthesis, and advanced transpersonal work.

Participation in this module requires prior Core Strokes® training and readiness for integrative, system-level work.

What Participants Develop

Across the four gateways, participants gradually develop capacities that continue to deepen throughout their professional lives.

Embodied Perception
The ability to recognize breathing patterns, tissue responsiveness, posture, movement, emotional expression, and relational dynamics as interconnected aspects of one living process.

Relational Presence
The capacity to remain grounded, responsive, and connected while working with vulnerability, activation, trauma, and emotional intensity.

Clinical Sensitivity
Greater precision in recognizing developmental adaptations, attachment patterns, nervous system states, and emerging possibilities for change.

Touch and Intervention Skills
Refined timing, pacing, and responsiveness when working through touch, movement, breath, dialogue, and embodied exploration.

Trust in Self-Organization
Confidence in the organism’s natural capacity for regulation, integration, and transformation when supported through appropriate conditions.

The Practitioner’s Journey

Many participants begin by seeking new tools.

Over time, they often discover a different way of perceiving.

Attention gradually shifts from “What should I do?” toward “What is happening here?”

Practitioners become increasingly able to recognize subtle shifts in breathing, tissue quality, emotional organization, relational contact, and nervous system regulation.

Interventions become less mechanical and more responsive.

Confidence grows not through certainty, but through the capacity to remain present with complexity.

For many participants, the most enduring outcome is not simply what they learn, but how they learn to perceive

A Spiral of Embodied Transformation

Core Strokes® is informed by the Energetic Breath Cycle™, Neurofascial Encoding™, the Fascia Texture Typology™, and the Neurofascial Transformation Process™.

These frameworks are not taught as abstract theories. They are explored directly through observation, touch, movement, breathing, and relational experience.

Each gateway is a practice in itself.

Together, they form a spiral of embodied transformation that continues to unfold long after the training itself has ended.

Each gateway is a practice in itself. Together, they form a spiral of embodied transformation.

Core Strokes® is designed for psychotherapists, psychologists, body-oriented practitioners, coaches, healthcare professionals, and individuals interested in deepening their understanding of embodied development and therapeutic process.

Participants come from a variety of backgrounds, united by an interest in working with the body as an essential dimension of healing, growth, and transformation.

Not necessarily.

Some participants enter with extensive professional experience, while others are newer to the field. The training combines experiential learning with practical application, allowing participants to develop skills progressively over time.

If you are unsure whether the training is appropriate for your background, we encourage you to contact us directly.

The complete training pathway consists of four modules: Rooting Core™, Flowing Core™, Radiant Core™, and Luminous Core™.

Each module is a seven-day immersion that can be taken individually or as part of the larger developmental pathway. Participants typically integrate learning between modules through practice, reflection, and professional application.

Yes.

Core Strokes® is an integrative somatic psychotherapy and body psychotherapy training that works with breath, fascia, nervous system regulation, developmental process, emotional expression, and relational presence.

The approach combines experiential learning with practical clinical application.

Many trainings focus primarily on techniques or specific therapeutic methods.

Core Strokes® emphasizes the development of embodied perception.

Participants learn to recognize how experience is organized through breathing, fascial responsiveness, posture, movement, emotional expression, and relational contact. This supports more precise, responsive, and individualized therapeutic work.

Rather than teaching a fixed set of interventions, the training develops the capacity to perceive what is emerging and respond appropriately in real time.

Yes.

Core Strokes® incorporates contemporary understandings of trauma, nervous system regulation, developmental process, attachment, and embodied experience.

Participants learn how to support regulation, expression, and integration without forcing emotional release or overwhelming the organism’s natural capacities.

Touch is one component of the training and is always taught within a clear ethical, relational, and professional framework.

Participants learn how touch can support awareness, regulation, embodiment, and relational contact while respecting boundaries, consent, and individual readiness.

Many aspects of the training also involve movement, breathing, dialogue, observation, and experiential exploration.

In many cases, yes.

The four gateways are designed as distinct learning experiences while also forming a coherent developmental pathway. Depending on your background and previous experience, it may be possible to enter through different modules.
