Core Strokes
Breath · Fascia · Transformation

What is Core Strokes
Core Strokes® is not a set of bodywork techniques, massage strokes, or mindfulness practices.
It is a relational, developmental, and phenomenological framework within somatic psychotherapy, integrating breath, fascia, and presence.
Core Strokes® works directly with breath, fascia, posture, and embodied experience—not as exercises to be performed, but as living expressions of how experience is organized and transformed in the body.
Rather than offering techniques or protocols, Core Strokes® provides a developmental and relational map of how the organism organizes safety, energy, contact, and expression through breath–tissue dynamics.
The work does not train the body to behave differently. It supports the conditions under which the body can reorganize itself, allowing deeply held nervous system patterns to shift from within.
At its heart, Core Strokes integrates breath, fascial texture, and relational presence to engage the body’s innate intelligence and restore coherence across sensation, movement, and contact.
Core Strokes is both a healing practice and a learning journey—a pathway for dissolving chronic tension, restoring vitality, and reconnecting with the embodied core of who you are.
How Core Strokes Works
Core Strokes supports transformation by reading and responding to how the body already organizes itself — rather than imposing change from the outside.
Core Strokes engages transformation through:
- Breath organization — sensing how inhalation, exhalation, and pauses reflect safety, charge, and contact
- Fascial responsiveness — reading tissue texture as a record of adaptation, memory, and potential
- Relational presence — using attuned contact and pacing to support nervous system reorganization
Unlike method-based or technique-driven somatic approaches, Core Strokes® is not something applied to the body, but a way of listening to how the body already organizes itself — and supporting its capacity to change.
Who is it for?
Core Strokes is accessible to a wide range of people, while offering depth and precision for those working professionally with the body and psyche.
Core Strokes welcomes:
Practitioners – psychotherapists, bodyworkers, coaches, and healers seeking somatic depth and precision.
Seekers – people longing for more grounding, flow, vitality, and authentic connection.
Communities – groups and trainings dedicated to embodied transformation.
