Find a Core Strokes Practitioner
Receiving sessions informed by breath, fascia, and relational presence
Many people ask where they can experience Core Strokes® in practice.
This page offers a way to connect with practitioners who are integrating Core Strokes® principles into their professional work—working with breath, fascia, and relational presence in an attuned, embodied way.
Core Strokes is a living and evolving body of work. While a formal certification pathway is still in development, a growing number of practitioners are already offering sessions shaped by its foundations, each within their own professional scope and background.
What Is Core Strokes in Practice?
Core Strokes is a somatic and relational approach that works with:
- the Energetic Breath Cycle™
- fascial texture and tissue responsiveness
- developmental and relational patterns held in the body
- moment-to-moment presence between practitioner and client
Sessions may include touch, breath awareness, movement, dialogue, and stillness—always guided by pacing, consent, and the client’s capacity for integration.
Rather than applying techniques, practitioners listen to the body’s language and support natural processes of regulation, expression, and coherence as they unfold.
Choosing a Practitioner
We encourage you to:
- read each practitioner’s background carefully
- contact them directly with questions
- choose someone whose training, scope, and presence feel right for you
You may also notice how your body responds when reading a practitioner’s description. A sense of ease, curiosity, or resonance is often as important as professional background.
The most important factor is not the label, but felt safety, clarity, and attunement in the relational field.
Practitioner Recognition & Lineage
Core Strokes emerges from a long lineage of body-oriented psychotherapy and integrative somatic work developed and taught by Dirk Marivoet over more than four decades.
Many practitioners working today have received extensive training with Dirk in earlier or parallel methods. This page therefore distinguishes several forms of practitioner recognition, each reflecting a different depth and focus of training.
These distinctions are not about hierarchy, but about clarity, transparency, and respect for scope of practice—for practitioners and for the public.
Core Strokes® Practitioners — Foundational Level
Practitioners listed as Core Strokes Practitioners (Foundational Level) have completed the full four-module Core Strokes® training spiral:
- Rooting Core
- Flowing Core
- Radiant Core
- Luminous Core
This training includes direct experiential work with:
- the Energetic Breath Cycle™ across all phases
- the Fascia Texture Typology™
- the Neurofascial Transformation Process™ (NTP)
- Soul Textures™ and Shadow Soul Textures
- relational presence, consent, pacing, and integration
This recognition reflects training completed, not formal certification. A structured certification pathway is currently in development.
Postural Integration® Practitioners
(including Advanced and Master Levels)
Postural Integration® (PI) practitioners trained with Dirk Marivoet have typically completed 3–4 years of intensive training (700+ hours).
Their training includes:
- deep, comprehensive hands-on fascia work(superficial, intermediate, deep, and integrative layers)
- character analysis and developmental understanding
- relational dynamics and therapeutic presence
- energetic principles, including early formulations of the breath cycle
Many PI practitioners possess a very high level of embodied skill and clinical understanding.
They may not, however, have received formal training in:
- the Fascia Texture Typology™ as a distinct map
- the Neurofascial Transformation Process™
- Soul Textures™ and their shadow counterparts
For this reason, they are not listed as Core Strokes® practitioners, while remaining an essential part of the lineage from which Core Strokes® emerged.
Energetic Integration® Practitioners
Energetic Integration practitioners have been trained in:
- the theory and experiential practice of the Energetic Breath Cycle™
- energetic containment and regulation
- limited hands-on strokes within a defined scope
- emotional expression and energetic flow
They are qualified to work with breath, energy, and relational presence, but do not practice the full fascia-based Core Strokes® method.
Pelvic-Heart Integration® Practitioners
Pelvic-Heart Integration (PHI) practitioners have been trained in:
- the pelvic–heart axis
- erotic development and relational polarity
- oedipal and triangular dynamics
- emotional, energetic, and symbolic integration
Their work focuses on relational depth and erotic-spiritual integration, rather than full-body fascia mapping or texture-based reading.

About Certification
A formal Core Strokes certification pathway is currently in development.
This page reflects practitioners who have completed foundational training and are practicing responsibly within their existing professional frameworks. As the training spiral continues to mature, additional levels of recognition will be introduced.
A Note on Scope and Responsibility
Core Strokes does not replace medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment.
If you are unsure whether this work is appropriate for your situation, we encourage you to consult with a qualified healthcare professional.
Interested in Becoming a Practitioner?
Core Strokes is not only a method to learn,
but a way of listening—to breath, tissue, and relationship.
